About Bloom

A small online tutoring company, built around specialist tutors.

Bloom launched in 2026. We cover KS1 through to A-Level with thirteen tutors, each degree-qualified in the subject they teach. Lessons start with a free assessment, there is no contract, and you can stop any week.

Why Bloom exists

Nobody has ever really doubted that one to one tutoring works. The question was only ever who could afford it. A specialist sitting beside your child for an hour a week was priced as a luxury, so it reached the families who already had every other advantage and missed the students who needed the attention most.

Video changed what that hour costs to provide. A tutor teaching over a call does not travel, does not need a room, and is not limited to the families within driving distance. Most of what made private tutoring expensive simply stopped being an expense.

Very little of that saving reached parents. A great deal of online tutoring is still priced as though someone were driving to your door.

Bloom exists to pass it on instead: the same specialist, the same undivided hour, at the lowest price we can run the business on. Every other decision here follows from that one. We stay small, we only teach subjects our tutors actually studied, and we try not to spend your money on anything that does not end up inside the lesson.

How we work

Everything below is a commitment we already make, not an aspiration.

13

Specialist tutors

Each one is degree-qualified in the subject they teach. We would rather stay small and specific than list subjects nobody on the team actually studied.

Start with a free assessment

The first lesson is an assessment and it is free. It exists so both sides can find out whether the match works before any money changes hands.

No contract, cancel any week

There is no minimum term and no notice period to serve. If Bloom stops being useful, you stop, and that is the end of it.

KS1 through to A-Level

Maths, English, the sciences and more, from the first years of primary school right through to A-Level and IGCSE.

Taught entirely online

No commute and no catchment area. Lessons run over video, which is what lets a small specialist team reach families anywhere.

Support 9–6, weekdays

UK time. A real person reads every enquiry, and you can reach us by WhatsApp, by phone or through the enquiry form.

What we can prove

Bloom is new, so we do not have years of results to point at. We would rather show a small number of real numbers than a large number of vague ones.

3,500+

Hours taught since February

Taken from our own lesson records for February to August 2026, across every tutor on the team. Lessons a student did not attend are not counted towards it.

13

Tutors, every one named

Each tutor is listed on the tutors page with the subjects and levels they cover and the hours they have taught. No stock photographs and no invented profiles.

What we cannot show you yet

We do not publish grade improvements, pass rates or retention figures. We have not measured them to a standard we would be willing to defend, and a thin section is better than a confident-sounding one. When there is a full year behind us, the numbers will appear here with a date attached.
